It's time to start gearing up for the 2009 Jet City Hoops Season....This season we will have 1 longer season instead of 2 smaller ones so be sure to register soon in order to play in the 2009 JCH Season.
Here are the details:
JCH Leagues
1. Co-ed Rec League - (Nov 7 - March 13 on Saturdays, excluding holidays (10 am - ).. for a total of 15 weeks of play, including the playoff - Teams that have 5 or more players from last season have the option of staying together)
2. Competitive League - this is a new league (Nov 8 - Feb 7 on Sundays (4pm - ) for a total of 10 weeks of play, including the playoffs -- this season will be shorter since we anticipate fewer teams in this division during our first season of play and it would get boring playing the same couple of teams for 15 weeks)
Registration Fees & Deadlines:
Due to the economy we have kept the fees as low as possible. Last year the registration fees were $95 for the non-discounted price and the season was 11 weeks. This year for the Rec league, the discounted rate of $90 gets you a much longer season at 15 weeks and a much better playing court with better traction at Seattle Central.
1. Rec League (Early registration discount $90 pp thru Oct 2. Online payment must be received or checks postmarked by Oct 2 to get this rate/ $105 pp afterwards (The season is 15 weeks which includes the playoffs. At the $90 rate this comes to only $6 per game)
2. Competitive League (Early registration discount - $50 pp thru Oct 2 Online payment must be received or checks postmarked by Oct 2 to get this rate / $65 pp after that. -- *Each team will be responsible for providing their own uniforms which means you can have the name of your team on your jerseys if you want. The season is 10 weeks which includes the playoffs)
3. Co-ed Rec and Competitive League Combo (This offer is for past JCH players only and not open to new players as new players will need to choose one league to play in. Early Registration Discount - $125 thru Oct 2 Online payment must be received or checks postmarked by Oct 2 to get this rate / $145 after that - This is a great way to get into shape and will get you a minimum of 25 games)
4. Registration Deadline: Friday, October 23rd

2. Mail: Send a check to treasurer (Jerome Hunter) and email the attached registration form to Sarah Cherin at scherin@gmail.com
